This Privacy Policy explains how Taylor Kennels LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), operator of the Pet Dog Training Tracker software and its client portal (the "Service"), collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information — names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, and business details you provide when you create an account, are invited to a client portal, or enroll a dog.
- Dog and program information — details about dogs, training programs, sessions, care records, and related notes and photos.
- Messages — messages you send through the Service between staff and clients.
- Payment information — when you pay online, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our systems; we retain records such as amounts, dates, and payment status.
- Usage and device data — basic technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the Service and its features (training records, updates, messaging, documents, scheduling, and payments).
- To communicate with you about your account, your dog's training, appointments, invoices, and support requests.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
SMS / text messaging
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in, or consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
If you provide your mobile number and consent, we may send you account, training, appointment, invite-code, and payment-related text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your ability to use the rest of the Service.
You provide consent to receive text messages when you enroll your dog for training or boarding (in person or on an enrollment form) and provide your mobile number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service, with service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations:
- Google Firebase — secure hosting, database, authentication, and push notifications.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Twilio — delivery of text messages you have consented to receive.
- Anthropic — AI generation of training-update drafts from session notes.
These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us, and not to sell it or use it for their own marketing. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements. You can delete your account from within the app, which removes your login and profile; some records may be retained where required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You may review and update your account and contact information in the app, opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and request deletion of your account. To make a privacy request, contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
